his One Unified Thing began its existence as unstructured potential without form or meaning. It is known as the Void for good reason. A veritable "digital" swamp stirred by imperceptible, presumably random variations, disturbances, "ripples", interactions of no known origin and of apparently random nature. [We do not know the nature of these interactions between primal "reality cells" but you can get some feeling for possibilities from the web site Math.com which has an implementation of the very early computer game known as "The Game of Life" invented by the mathematician John Conway in 1970.] From this Nothing, this Void, this Plenum, this Potential, Ultimate Reality developed by the operation of two fundamental processes. These two processes or principles are seen to be operable at all levels, divisions and dimensions observed in the whole of the One ~ Ultimate Reality. It must always be kept in mind that these two principles were deduced from what is observed to occur. They are not a pre-existing, other defined, rule set to be followed. They are a generalization of what is observed to occur with the occurrence and the observation preceding the deduction. Something found, not something expected and looked for. Much as Charles Darwin put together his observations of the nature of the beings existing on "physical" earth and their relationships, similarities, differences, behaviors and interactions and generalized the notion of evolution by the survival of the fittest.

here is a consistent, universal and repetitive application of these two driving and organizing processes to be found throughout all of the One ~ Source ~ Ultimate Reality, amounting to a recursive application of principles that results in many secondary characteristics observable throughout all manifestations of existence. This is the basis of the observed correlation between fractal mathematics and the observed characteristics of fractal like patterns throughout what we know as "physical" reality. This is also the basis for the appearance of the "ten thousand things" and all "intellectual" content and "meaning" to be presently found within Ultimate Reality. Ultimately, everything came out of nothing, this Void, this Nothingness, and nothing possesses any meaning except as has been built a suitable world of interrelated meaning out of words and ideas which are only symbols composed of other symbols, composed of other symbols, recursively, which ultimately go back to nothing but self reference to the self same world of meaning that is being built out of this Ultimate Nothingness ("digital" castles from "digital" sand). As another symbolic description, consider a tapestry of meaning being woven from threads of imagination.

here is a constant dynamic balance being maintained between the actions of these two principles with evolutionary driving force, including the potential for chaos and self destruction, being opposed by an organizational, cooperative force acting to produce synergistic advancements, with the potential for stultification from lack of stimulation. So far, over all, what have come to be considered as the "positive" forces of synergistic organized cooperation continue to predominate over the "negative" forces of chaotic evolutionary conflict, yet without stultification in some form of changeless perfected state. This is the dynamic balance referred to. This is a delicate balance, originally fortuitous and inherently maintained, but now created and maintained by the now conscious manipulations of the One ~ Ultimate Reality. The One Unified Thing has now self-transformed from Potential into Being. Being of still vaster potential than in the beginning: The Ultimate Reality and basis for all and everything that exists and still yet the fundamental One. And now the two fundamental principles are being applied as conscious and purposeful Will as well as just because that is the way the One is, its primordial nature. The One is embarked on a continual self-transformation and process of perfecting of its own internal being by a continuing act of Will. The One ~ Ultimate Reality exists in essence as an Existence Field or Will Field which is the basis for the existence of any and every thing which is perceived to exist.
